Indiana Life Science Organizations
Indiana is the crossroads of America and home to an established and growing life science community. In addition to solid universities and corporations focused on the life sciences, Indiana also has several strong industry trade associations and networks, including:
- Indiana Biomedical Entrepreneurs Network (IBEN) – The Indiana Biomedical Entrepreneur Network (IBEN) strives to enable entrepreneurship in lifesciences and medicine throughout Indiana. This is achieved through social networking, education and events featuring experienced entrepreneurs.
- Indiana Health Industry Forum (IHIF) – The mission of IHIF is to create an environment where Indiana is a premier location for the creation and growth of health industry enterprises.
- Indiana Medical Device Manufacturer’s Council (IMDMC) – The Indiana Medical Device Manufacturers Council (IMDMC) is an association of medical device manufacturers and other companies that reflect a dedicated trade association and advocate for companies and individuals involved in the manufacture of medical devices.
- Indiana Pharmaceutical Research Alliance (IPhRA) – IPhRA is designed to create awareness and foster the open exchange of ideas among Indiana entities engaged in pharmaceutical research, from discovery to production and spanning an ecosystem that includes individual consultants, contract research firms, global companies, universities, clinics, disease management organizations and research institutes.
